Our Commitment

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking and are dedicated to improving our practices to ensure such abuses do not occur in our supply chains or any part of our business.

Our Business

Avelis Appliances supplies kitchen appliances including ovens and hobs to customers throughout the UK. We work with carefully selected suppliers and distributors, both domestically and internationally, to source our products.

Supply Chain Standards

We expect all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to uphold the same high standards as we do. This includes:

  • Compliance with all applicable labour, employment, and human rights laws.
  • No use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour.
  • No use of child labour and strict adherence to minimum working age requirements.
  • Safe and fair working conditions for all employees.

Due Diligence

We take reasonable steps to assess and monitor potential risks in our supply chains. This includes ongoing communication with suppliers and the right to audit or request evidence of compliance where appropriate.

Training & Awareness

We aim to raise awareness of modern slavery risks among our employees and ensure that relevant staff are aware of the signs of modern slavery and how to report concerns.

Reporting Concerns

If an employee, supplier, or third party has any concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with our business or supply chain, they are encouraged to report them directly to [email protected]. All reports will be treated seriously and investigated appropriately.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with UK law, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
