Terms and Conditions
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the products (“Products”) listed on our website www.avelis-appliances.co.uk (“our site”) or other associated websites to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our site. By ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
1. Information About Us
www.avelis-appliances.co.uk is a site operated by Burhani Trading Co Ltd (we, our, us). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 4284312. Our registered office and main trading address is 4 Duncombe Way, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD8 9SY. VAT Registration Number: GB772255522.
2. Your Status
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You are resident in the UK; and
- You are accessing our site from the UK.
3. How the Contract is Formed Between You and Us
3.1 After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. The contract between us (“Contract”) will only be formed when we dispatch your items.
3.2 The Contract will relate only to those Products we dispatch. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until those products become available for dispatch.
4. Consumer Rights
4.1 If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within 14 days, beginning on the day you received the Products. In this case, you will receive a refund of the price paid for the Products, subject to the conditions in our Returns Policy.
4.2 To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing by email to [email protected]. You must return the Product(s) immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, at your own cost and risk.
4.3 You will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of any of the following Products: specially ordered products that have been custom made to your requirements or which cannot readily be returned.
4.4 These provisions do not affect your statutory rights.
5. Availability and Delivery
5.1 Your order will normally be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, within 30 days of the Dispatch Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
5.2 For palletised deliveries, goods will be delivered as close as possible to your front door. If this location is unreachable for any reason, such as a narrow street, stairs, or other obstruction, delivery will be made as near to your property as possible.
5.3 Pallet delivery drivers are not insured to carry goods inside your property. At least two able-bodied persons should be available to receive delivery and move goods indoors.
6. Risk and Title
6.1 Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.
6.2 Ownership of the Products passes to you only when we have received full payment, including delivery charges.
7. Price and Payment
- Prices are as quoted on our site except in cases of obvious error.
- Prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added at checkout.
- We reserve the right to amend prices, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
- If a product is incorrectly priced, we will either contact you for confirmation before dispatch or reject your order. We are not obliged to supply a Product at an incorrect price if the error is obvious.
- Payment must be made by debit/credit card at the time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers.

9. Our Liability
We warrant that any Product purchased from us is of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Product and foreseeable losses. This does not exclude liability for death or injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Written Communications
When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or post notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic communication.
11. Notices

12. Transfer of Rights and Obligations
The contract between you and us is binding on both parties and our respective successors. You may not transfer your rights under a Contract without our written consent. We may transfer our rights at any time.
13. Events Outside Our Control
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including strikes, natural disasters, transport disruption, terrorism, or government restrictions.
14. Waiver
Failure by us to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
15. Severability
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
16. Entire Agreement
These terms and any referenced documents represent the entire agreement between us and supersede prior discussions.
17. Our Right to Vary These Terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes in law, technology, or business needs. The updated version will apply from publication on our site.
18. Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for Products purchased through our site are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
19. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We will do our best to resolve the issue quickly. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service if it relates to a finance agreement.
